23 and 24 March, FAI (National Trust of Italy) opens 700 locations across Italy

This year the FAI – National Trust – opens 700 locations across Italy, often inaccessible and for the occasion exceptionally available to the public, with visits to free contribution: churches, palaces, archaeological sites, villas, villages, gardens, even barracks , hydroelectric power stations and an astronomical observatory.

Leaving the house for a special event, which involves the heart and mind. “Invade” the city for once and feel part of a community that recognizes the culture of our country. Experience the many different stories that tell one big story through works of art, gorgeous surroundings and places seemingly familiar yet surprising. And “recognize each unknown” thanks to these common feelings and moods that make us feel closer to each other.

This is what happens during the XXI FAI Spring Day, scheduled for Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March. A large popular mobilization that has over the years become indispensable to hundreds of thousands of Italians and involving 6.8 million people so far.
